The Lasemedica staff are highly experienced and trained in the latest medical technology to promote aesthetic as well as inner health. Board certified, they have more than 10 years’ experience in catheter-based techniques used in a wide area of vascular health, which is the basis for an ever-expanding array of applications, such as treatment for varicose and spider veins, damaged capillaries, sun-damaged skin, body contouring and more.
They are supported by a staff of experienced clinical nurses and trained and certified aestheticians.
They take time to understand your issues and concerns and are considerate of your needs. They are members of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS).
Rex Ghassemi, M.D.
Founder of Lasemedica
Dr Ghassemi graduated from Robert Wood Johnson School of medicine obtaining a medical doctorate degree in 1988 . He then completed an Internal medicine residency at Medical College of Pennsylvania and a fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital. Dr Ghassemi has been in practice for 34 years but has dedicated his practice to Aesthetic medicine for the past 15 years. He specializes in advanced vascular procedures, Laser Vein treatment, Phlebology, laser body contouring, skin and facial rejuvenation, utilizing noninvasive and minimally invasive catheter based techniques. Dr. Ghassemi has been a clinical instructor in medicine and teaches residents and medical students in phlebology techniques. He has been featured in social media and on channel 12 news and multiple news publications. Throughout his extensive career, Dr. Ghassemi has been the recipient of Patients’ Choice Award (2012, 2011, 2009, 2008) and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2012).
Happily married, he is the father of two children.
He is a member of the American College of Phlebology, the National Society of Cosmetic Physicians and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Cameron Ghassemi, D.O.
Dr. Ghassemi is an Emergency Medicine physician with a deep passion for medical aesthetics and wellness. He earned his medical degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York and completed his Emergency Medicine residency at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey.
With over 10 years of exposure to the field of medical aesthetics through his father’s successful medical spas, Dr. Ghassemi has developed a strong appreciation for the art of aesthetic medicine and its role in promoting confidence and well-being. In addition to his full-time role as an Emergency Medicine attending physician, he is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthier lifestyles and feel their best through personalized aesthetic treatments.
TIFFANY MATRAGAS, M.H.S., P.A.-C
Tiffany Matragas is a certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA) with extensive experience in multiple specialties, including vascular surgery, thoracic surgery, plastic surgery, and family practice.
Tiffany earned her Master of Physician Assistant Sciences degree from Saint Francis University and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Duquesne University in her native Pittsburgh. Tiffany takes great pride in helping patients achieve their desired results and feel confident in their own skin.
She’s a master injector with expertise in aesthetic treatments such as Botox, Juvederm, and dermal fillers. Additionally, Tiffany has received advanced training in various cutting-edge cosmetic treatments, including microneedling, non-invasive skin tightening, skin rejuvenation, and laser hair removal. She approaches every treatment with a steady hand and a commitment to enhancing overall patient health and well-being. In her free time, Tiffany loves cheering on the Steelers and spending time at the beach.

She is skilled in Microneedling with PRP and Exosomes and Radiofrquency treatments for skin tightening and wrinkle reduction. Christine is experienced in all areas of aesthetics focusing on overall skin health with concentration in anti-aging concerns for the face & body.
Christine is passionate about her work, is extremely knowledgeable and provides a variety of facial treatments, utilizing top grade medical grade skin care products. We are very excited to have her join our team at Lasemedica medspa and vein center.
